Founded in 2014, Black Box India began as a voice-over company working with clients like Graphic India and Simplilearn. Over time, it grew into a space for theatre, storytelling, and creative expression a place where ideas, cultures, and people come together through art.
We believe theatre can move people, spark ideas, and connect worlds. Our work is about more than performance it’s about conversation, emotion, and reflection. We create with honesty, passion, and curiosity, always striving to make something that feels real and meaningful.
Our team comes from film, theatre, music, and education, bringing together ideas and experiences from across India and beyond. We create performances, workshops, and collaborations that inspire, connect people, and celebrate stories that matter.

Over the years, Black Box Indiahas built strong creative connections across a wide range of spaces from schools and theatres to music, film, and community projects.
Our story began with Graphic India, where we lent our voices to their animated comic series. Since then, we’ve collaborated with artists like King Jassim & Subtracktor on ‘’Take It As It Comes’’ and with SAM (Sunday Actors Meetup) on performance based projects that celebrate collaboration and storytelling.
In education, we’ve partnered with Mallya Aditi International School and several government schools across Karnataka, using theatre as a tool to build confidence, creativity, and communication in students. We also created a children’s short film in partnership with Village Story, bringing young voices and ideas to the screen.
Our performances have taken us to some of the city’s most respected stages Ranga Shankara, Jagriti Theatre, Suchitra Theatre, Sabha BLR, Alliance Française de Bangalore, and the Bangalore International Centre. Beyond the stage, we’ve worked with Bee Culture, TEDx, and 21 Grams Production,
exploring new ways to blend theatre, music, film and movement.
Each collaboration has been more than just a project it’s been a meeting of minds, a shared belief in creativity, and another step forward in our ongoing journey.
